As our commercial mass timber division continues to grow, we are looking for a Construction Manager to help lead the planning and execution of complex mass timber installations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, here’s what success looks like:
· Installation, sequencing and constructability are reviewed early in the design process
· Projects are planned with crane access, site logistics, trucking coordination, and field execution in mind
· Coordination between fabrication, shipping, and installation teams is proactive and efficient
· Site workforce, installation schedules, and field execution are effectively managed
· Potential field conflicts and constructability issues are identified before fabrication begins
· Site teams are equipped with clear installation plans and execution strategies
· Collaboration between internal departments improves project flow from award through installation
Qualifications
· 7+ years of experience in construction management, field operations, or installation planning
· Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and field coordination
· Experience with prefabricated structures, steel erection, or mass timber construction is considered an asset
· Ability to review drawings/models and identify constructability concerns prior to installation
· Experience coordinating cranes, trucking, and installation logistics
· Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
· Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, or similar construction software is an asset
· Must have a valid Canadian passport and be able to travel internationally
· Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract
